EVOLUTION PROCESS OF LOGITEM GROUP IN VIETNAM

In 1994, Japan Logistic Systems Corp. established joint venture subsidiaries including Logitem Vietnam Corp. No.1 and Logitem Vietnam Corp.No.2 .During initial period of liberalize policy for FDI in Vietnam, the above 2 joint venture companies marked continuous growth. In 1995, both 2 joint-venture subsidiaries established their business branch in HCM City.

Notwithstanding currency crisis in ASEAN during 1997 to 2000, 2 joint venture companies maintained sound operation. In 2002, Logitem Vietnam Corp.No.2 established Da Nang Branch and start operation of its own warehouse at Da Nang Industrial Zone in Son Tra District. In May 2004, Logitem Vietnam Group held 10 years anniversary ceremony at Hanoi Meria Hotel. 10 year after establishment,  2 joint venture companies accelerate development. To meet further demands of customers, in 2006, Logitem Vietnam Corporation Limited was established in Quang Minh Industrial Zone, Vinh Phuc Province (Currently Quang Minh IZ belongs to Hanoi). After establishment of Logitem Laos GLKP, Logitem Vietnam Corp.No.2 started cross border transportation between Thailand and Vietnam via Laos. Our cross-border transportation service has been contributed several times for Vietnam Governmental shipment to Laos Government. In August 2008, Logitem Vietnam Holding and Investment Co., Ltd. was established with purpose to control capital, support management and investment as well as finance and personnel for group companies in Vietnam.

In November 2012, Logitem Vietnam Trading Co, Ltd. was founded to promote and boost Import and Export business activities as well as trading. In May 2014, Logitem Vietnam Group organized 20 years anniversary event at Hanoi Sheraton Hotel.

In January 2016, Logitem Vietnam Corporation established Mekong Distribution Center. This was a first Logistics Center of Japanese Logistics Provider in Mekong Delta.

For further development of passenger transportation service, Logitem Vietnam Group founded Logitem Vietnam North Service Co., Ltd. in November 2017 and Logitem Vietnam South Service Co., Ltd. in December 2017. To stimulate development of Logistics service in Da Nang and central provinces, in April 2019, Logitem Vietnam Corporation completed and started operation of Da Nang Logistics Center in Expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, Lien Chieu Dist., Da Nang.

In November 2nd, 2019, 25 Years Anniversary Ceremony was successfully held as a tribute for all employees with tile “Honor the Past, Create the Future” at Hanoi International Convention Center. Leaders of Japan Logistic Systems Corp as well as representatives from Logitem Asia Subsidiaries and all employees working in Hanoi attended the Ceremony.
